What is it about?

I just found a Facebook post that I'd like to post here today:

What is it about? Life

People work,

People work until they drop,

People fall, whether they work or not,

but more with and through work,

which should guarantee and enable their life,

thanks to the money that is supposed to bring them wealth and opportunities,

and they create, do, accomplish – more and more –

like the machines that created them,

like the animals they raised,

everything is running at high performance

for a performance-oriented society

and I write this without theories

without plots, without politics,

simply from my heart

from my experiences

of my ups and downs:

People work for the holidays,

a break, a retreat, a time,

that they will never be able to have or catch up with again,

because they worked during this period

They do everything for a reputation,

to be able to afford anything

and when the time comes,

to be able to do this,

so they are too tired, too old and too broken,

to enjoy the time they have left

You think back to the days of work

and thinks she was good or bad,

they sometimes no longer know what is good or bad,

They cling to money because it is supposed to bring luck,

the feeling that one can accomplish anything

Then they stand there,

whether they are poor or rich,

probably empty anyway

and disappointed,

that no one asks any more questions about them,

that no one is held responsible

or take the blame,

that there is no one left

that surrounds them

and gives them importance

and then the money is

only money and feeling

the feeling of life is only an illusion,

as flat and worn as a banknote,

which is worthless,

because she doesn't feel

can buy,

what is missing

and this feeling is

deep being-with-oneself

and love with yourself, with your beloved

and life itself,

what most people missed,

because they lived and worked only for appearances.
