Lu C. Ohm / Bente Amlandt – are my author names.
I'm from Wismar and write fantasy novels under the name "Bente Amlandt" and science fiction novels in German and English under the name "Lu C. Ohm." My books are suitable for young adults and adults. The sea, medieval cities, and my vast fantasy world inspire me to write. I have provided my first novel series, "Rodiwana," with numerous imaginative black-and-white illustrations.

If imagination creates many fears, then it is no wonder that the Northerners are the most fearful people in Rodiwana. They see goblins behind trees, see giants under icebergs and look for monsters in the sea. Meanwhile, the real monsters are in their heads and they meet especially at night, when the children call for the furs and the mothers assure them that no more demons can come now, casting a fearful glance at the shadow at the door. ..

I enjoy being in a "flow" with my characters and sometimes writing without stopping. The inner development of my characters is particularly important to me, often allowing the reader to share in their thoughts. Fantasy, humor, unexpected twists, poetry, and romance can also be found in my novels. My target audience is young and adult readers, from 10-12 years old up to...unlimited!
