Veil of Silence

Poem

The whispers fade, the voices cease,
A trust once strong, now lost in shade.
A fractured bond, a fragile peace,
A tale of wealth and truth betrayed.
The house stands still, its walls confined,
Yet echoes speak of what was sold.
A fortune shaped, a fate designed,
A future bartered, quiet and cold.
What hands have moved, what debts were claimed,
What secrets hide beneath the dust?
In silence lies a name unnamed,
In questions lost, in broken trust.
Yet light may shine, the truth may rise,
Through shadows cast and stories told.
No silence lasts, no darkness ties,
For justice waits where hearts are bold.
